Lubricant analysisExtended BECHEM Oil Analysis
The new service is based on a collaboration between BECHEM and Germany’s largest oil analysis service provider OELCHECK. The individual tests are carried out in the OELCHECK laboratory, but the competent BECHEM engineers evaluate the test results and provide the relevant recommendations.
The service is offered for regular analyses of gear, hydraulic, circulation, and compressor oils. Special-purpose analyses as well as analyses of greases, pastes, and metalworking fluids are also available and are carried out in the BECHEM laboratory.
4 easy steps to the final result
1. Order an analysis kit
Contact the responsible BECHEM engineer for your company and explain the reason for the desired analysis. In agreement with the responsible engineer, you can then order the desired number of boxes with six 100 ml sample vials.
Local UPS shipping agents are available in a few countries:
you can order the analysis kit directly from a local shipping agent (UPS partner agent).
Currently available in China, India, Taiwan, Romania, Turkey, and Uruguay/Brazil/Argentina
The plan is to extend this to Indonesia and a number of other countries (https://en.oelcheck.com/about-oelcheck/contact/exclusive-agents)
2. Sampling
- Remove oil and grease from your machine. Mark the sample vial with the self-adhesive laboratory number of the sample submission form and note all the necessary information about the machine, operating hours, and oil in the system.
- Complete the sampling form
- Remove the sticker with the sample number from the sample submission form and stick it on the vial
- Place one or up to 4 vials in the envelope and add your address
3. Send the sample
Complete the enclosed sample submission form. Send the sample vial in the leak-proof plastic envelope (free within Germany with the enclosed UPS return label) to OELCHECK or to the exclusive agent in your country. Notify your BECHEM engineer of the dispatch of the sample.
4. Receipt of the laboratory report
The responsible BECHEM engineer will send you the evaluated report after the analyses have been completed. The engineer is also available to answer any questions.
- Faster analysis results
- Analysis in the OELCHECK laboratory within 1 day
- Sample can be sent directly to OELCHECK
- Direct data transfer from OELCHECK to the BECHEM laboratory system
- The responsible BECHEM engineers are intimately familiar with the application and can hold discussions with the end user
- Direct access to all previous results for trend analysis
- Greater data security
- The analysis form already contains the BECHEM customer number so that the results cannot get lost in the system
- The analysis data are stored in a special service area that can only be accessed by BECHEM
